ROV systems worked / managed

The ROV systems in my portfolio of experience are listed below.

ACV06, ACV07, XLS01, XLS04, XL25, XL35, Scorpion20, Triton12, Triton21, Triton06, SCV17, SCV19, SCV21, SCV26, Solo1, Constructor02, Rigworker19, Lynx04, Lynx05, Lynx02, Tiger825, Achille.

2007 to 2015

ACV06 and ACV07 - these are Acergy variants of the Schilling UHD. Generally regarded as the best version produced and even today some eight years later are at the top end of ROV specification for heavy work class systems.

I witnessed much of the vehicle assembly and FAT at Schilling Robotics in Davis CA prior to overseeing the installation of the ROV systems to Skandi Acergy and the bespoke LARS commissioned by Acergy UK.

2005 to 2007

Triton XLS01 and XLS04 - these were installed on the Normand Mermaid with Stolt Offshore (Acergy) supplied LARS. Owned and partially crewed by Canyon Offshore.

I remained as a regular ROV Supervisor here from mobilisation in March 2005 until leaving in September 2007 to join Skandi Acergy.

ROV Intervention, Inspection, Survey and light construction tasks were the norm.

2001 to 2005

Commencing my ROV career in 1997, I rapidly gained experience on a variety of ROV systems and Projects. Summarised below and on the next page.
