Key Achievements:

My key achievements - so far.

Undoubtedly my best achievement to date has been a contributing party to my children being born and developing into adulthood.
Two out of three have earned and been awarded first class honours Degrees, whilst the third chose a different path and now holds a senior position with a major Oil Company.


On a professional level however, the period I have most enjoyed to date is:


Having the position as ROV Superintendent for Skandi Acergy from September 2007 until September 2015.

Being selected to join the Skandi Acergy 'Build Team' and thus involved at an early stage with the ROV and bespoke LARS conception and installation is a personal highlight. This led to the subsequent operational management of two industry-leading ROV systems integrated within a class-leading heavy-lift / flexible lay, and construction vessel. The vessel and in particular the ROV systems have been held in high regard by Clients and Project Teams worldwide.

Sadly the ROV systems were removed when the vessel charter ended, however the launch and recovery system remains and should be as impressive as ever.
