Once again enjoying a more 'freelance' approach - due to increased market activity.  Managing the 'work / life' balance around home requirements. Recent assignments as Construction Shift Supervisor: Ocean Installer Baltic Connector pipeline repair (lift & shift); Saipem - NnG Wind Farm WTG jacket to pile grouting, and Vessel support to the ‘Walk to work’ access tower and CTV deployed ‘Top of Jacket’ rectification teams. ; DeepOcean Norway IRM activities; and with Havfram on West African decomissioning and North Sea construction Projects. I was between June 2021 and June 2022 engaged on a regular basis as Shift Supervisor on CSV Edda Freya for DeepOcean.

It was in the aftermath of COVID-19 pandemic: 2021 - I moved back into the freelance market once more, following two years as staff with Allseas as Senior ROV Supervisor / Shift Supervisor, assigned to Oceanic. 

Prior to this staff position I was active as a freelance contractor. Voluntary redundancy taken in September 2015 presented me with the opportunity to direct my own future and test the market. This felt like  a necessary phase after eighteen years unbroken service with a major subsea organisation.

An Offshore Supervisor with extensive experience in managing ROV operations, with an emphasis on subsea construction; subsea decomissioning; cable & flexible lay; rigid pipelay; inspection repair and maintenance (IRM); seabed survey; metrology and diving support campaigns.

Over 27 years offshore industry experience.  

A skilled offshore leader, attentive to detail, with quick reactions to changing circumstances on site. Provision of calm supervision of team and contractors whilst adhering to stringent deadlines during the safe execution of project tasks. 

Comprehensive reporting and procedure skills. Strong problem solving abilities; excellent interpersonal relationships; and a demonstrated, proven ability to work either as project leader or as participating team member.
